Yoshihiro Yasuda (born 1948) is considered one of Japan’s most experienced trial attorneys and one of the most renowned members of the Japanese Bar Association.
Yasuda was Japan’s only trial attorney that agreed to defend Shoko Asahara, founder of the controversial Buddhist religious group accused of various crimes, including the Tokyo subway sarin gas attack.
In 1998 Yasuda was charged with ‘obstruction of justice’ and consequently could not direct the efforts of the defence team, which ‘jeopardized Shoko Asahara’s right to fair trial’ according to Amnesty International.

Yasuda, widely known for his human rights activities, was himself arrested in 1999, accused of helping a client obstruct the seizure of assets by a collapsed "jusen" mortgage lender.
At the time he was taken into custody, Yasuda was the leading defense attorney for Aum Shinrikyo founder Shoko Asahara, who stands accused of masterminding a series of heinous crimes, including the 1995 Tokyo subway gas attack and another deadly nerve gas attack the previous year.
Yasuda is also a leading campaigner against the death penalty, and believes his arrest was also meant to suppress that movement.

 Japan: Amnesty International calls for inquiry into arrest of prominent human rights activist
Lawyer Yasuda Yoshihiro was arrested on 6 December reportedly on suspicion of obstructing the compulsory seizure of rental income used as collateral by one of his client companies, Sun's Corporation Tokyo Ltd. Since his arrest he has been held continuously in police detention at the Metropolitan Police Department in Tokyo.
Yasuda Yoshihiro is a leading campaigner against the death penalty in Japan.
Following his arrest, the Japanese media have engaged in intense speculation over the character of Yasuda Yoshihiro, particularly in connection with his human rights work and his role as a defence lawyer for Asahara Shoko.

Even if Yasuda gave such an instruction, what JRC could have done was to bring a charge with the court of justice to serve notice of the compulsory seizure on the rent income (sublease rent credit).

As an enemy of the New Japan army, Fujita wanted to revive this belt to challenge the IWGP Heavyweight Title's importance, and chose four men, including himself, who had fought some brutal wars in MMA promotions, but who were also accomplished pro wrestlers.

 Aum Shinrikyo :: Asahara Trial Too Quick, Says Man Wrongly Suspected in Attack
TOKYO, Sept. 11--Yoshiyuki Kono, who was falsely described as a suspect by police after the 1994 sarin gas attack by the AUM Shinrikyo cult in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture, said Saturday he believes the eight years a court spent trying AUM founder Shoko Asahara before sentencing him to death in February was too short.
Asahara, whose real name is Chizuo Matsumoto, was sentenced to death on Feb. 27 by the Tokyo District Court over all 13 charges against him, including the 1995 sarin gas attack on the Tokyo subway system.
Yasuda, a well-known anti-death penalty campaigner, shared the view with Kono, saying society as a whole should face crimes and that the relief for the victims is a matter of social security.
