New Japanese Ambassador to Zimbabwe Takeo Yoshikawa said this soon after presenting his credentials to President Robert Mugabe at the State House.
He said since 1993 when the international community reduced support for Africa, Japan had focused its assistance to African countries in areas where they identified problems and strove to solve them on their own.
