	Junichiro Koizumi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		In 1970, he was hired as a secretary to Takeo Fukuda, who was Minister of Finance at the time and would go on to become Prime Minister in 1976.
		In the general elections of December 1972, Koizumi was elected as a member of the Lower House for the 11th District of Kanagawa Prefecture.
		Fukuda resigned on May 7, 2004 and was replaced by Hosoda.
