		First of all, from what I remember Togashi didn't give up on Yu Yu Hakusho, Shueisha wouldn't stop pestering him and also something was happening in his personal life.
		If you look at it, Hakusho while being a shounen fighting series with occult themes, intrigue, and spectacular fighitng scenes, it's also about the maturity of a young man (at least that's how I looked at it) into the man that was shaped from the various people and events he encountered along the way.
