Hotels and resorts have reported heavy to severe damage across the region as winds ranging from 100 to 125-mph have been consistent in the region for the last 55-hours.
The storm has dumped over 20-inches of rain on many parts of the Yucatan and western Cuba and at-least another 8 to 10 inches more are expected as the storm slowly lifts off the peninsula's northern coastline Saturday night.
