At the end of January, former interior minister Yuriy Lutsenko embarked on a tour across the provinces of Ukraine, where he presented the recently founded movement Narodna Samooborona (People’s Self-defense) in the resplendent style of the Orange Revolution on Maidan in the winter of 2004.
As for the powerful political players the former minister underscored that the possibility of cooperate with his organization in the future should not be ruled.
The radical UNA-UNSO organization headed by the son of the UPA commander-in-chief Yuriy Shukhevych (Ukrainian Insurrection Army) it joined the Nova Syla (New Force) party of Yuriy Zbitnyev at its January 28 congress and approved the decision on unquestioning cooperation with the Narodna Samooborona.
