		His first work appeared in November 1983 in Young Magazine, and his first series Tokonatsu Bank started in that publication in January 1984 and ran until February 1985.
		Takada is better known for his supernatural manga 3x3 Eyes and Blue Seed, and for the comedy-action manga All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku.

		The setting, most of the names, magical creatures (including those for the summoning spells), and almost all of the 3x3 Eyes specific spells are heavily based on their manga counterparts, and as such, are also under copyright by Yuzo Takada.
		At the time of this writing the English rights to the 3x3 Eyes manga are licensed to Studio Proteus and the manga is being published in the USA by Dark Horse Comics.

		Yuzo Takada has a strange balance of horror and goofiness in 3x3 Eyes; one minute it's almost childlike in the antics of its main characters...
		Those who don't like a lot of the stereotypical conventions of manga, though (the sudden shifts from happiness to tears, over the top behavior) might not be so crazy about 3x3 Eyes, though, because they're definitely here in abundance.
		I can't stand Yakumo's lines for eyes that Takada gives him, and Takada seems to rely on speed lines in place of backgrounds a little too often for my taste.

	Yuzo Takada "The Last Order" (Artbook Collection Database)
		Those of you who have Yuzo Takada's "Aien Kien" artbook will also be happy to know, that none of the 3x3 images from that book are replicated in this collection :)
		This is by far the largest artbook I have in my collection, and also one of my most loved.
		I love Yuzo Takada's artstyle, and the 3x3 Eyes story is a long time favourite.

	3x3 Eyes Digest [News - January 2000]
		Since the combined issue 5-6 of Young Magazine, we said that `3x3 Eyes' did not appear for the sake of author collection of materials(?), but Yuzo Takada-sensei's sudden illness is the real reason it did not appear.
		The final Oricon comic ranking for last November listed 3x3 Eyes #32 in 7th place and Genzo Hitogata Kiwa #2 in 25th, so it will be interesting to see how this issue compares.
		There is even an interview with Yuzo Takada that originally appeared in Kappa magazine, which the site owner may translate into English eventually.

	Mangamaniacs Review: 3x3 Eyes by Yuzo Takada (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-05)
		The supporting characters are just as enjoyable, from the capable but greedy Ling-Ling to the cute Mei-Hsing to the various friends of Yakumo and Pai who drift through the story from time to time.
		There's nothing eye-grabbing or spectacular about it, but Takada's imagination is given free rein in the inventive (and gruesome) monster designs and the somewhat mystically-flavored locales to the nicely choreographed action sequences.
		That tendency towards the gory is nicely balanced, however, by the appealing characters, gripping plots, and the understated but very sweet romance that grows between Yakumo and Pai.

	Yuzo Takada
		On a side note, the one thing that seems weak about the collection would be the covers of the books themselves.
		The cover art seems to have been tweaked on a computer and really doesn't fit the feel of the Takada's enclosed art.
		If anything could be added to the books it would of been nice to have a collection of concept sketches.

		The series can be described as a supernatural adventure story, with some romance, comedy, and violence thrown in for good measure.
