		Though the DiMAGE Z2 normally judges focus from a large area in the center of the frame, a Spot AF mode is also available, which determines focus from one of three possible spot-AF hotspots, arranged across the middle of the frame.
		The Z2 produced good color throughout my testing, although its auto white balance tended to leave a slight warm cast in the images, and it was a little prone to oversaturation, particularly with red tones.
		The Z2 won't be your first choice for normal shooting at high ISO (a small strike against it for "sports" usage, where the higher ISO would permit faster shutter speeds), but for low ISOs in the daytime and long exposures at night, most people will likely find its results acceptable.

		This is my ultimate "resolution shot," given the infinite range of detail in a natural scene like this, and the Z2 captures a lot of fine detail, but its image is a bit softer than those of the best four-megapixel digicam models.
		The Z2 produced clear, bright, usable images down to the 1/16 foot-candle (0.67 lux) limit of my test, at all four ISO settings.
		Optical distortion on the Z2 is quite a bit lower than average at the wide-angle end, where I measured approximately 0.3 percent barrel distortion.

		The answer to all 3 is yes, the BenQ Z2 is a jack of all trades packed into the 66 x 66 x 20mm device which while square in shape it isn't expected to be operated by squares just people who want to stop carrying multiple devices.
		Before we move off of audio BenQ have equipped the Z2 with an embedded fm player which while not exactly new to the world of mobile phones is another function of this all in one device.
		Then we come to the camera capabilities of the Z2 here we get a 1.3 mega pixel camera which can take photos of up to 1280x960 pixel resolution and there is also a small flash to try and make the Z2 more useable indoors or in low light conditions.

		Normally, this problem can be fixed by adjusting the various gains, or drive levels for the various colors, to achieve proper color balance at the high IRE levels, and use bias or offset controls to tweak the low IRE levels.
		Many that have tried to tweak the Z2 using service and user menu controls, have found that if pushed at all, the gamma tracking for red is very different than for green and blue giving the problematic grayscale tracking shown above.
		Although the grayscale tracking is not quite as good as with the CC 40R, after a final tweak of the contrast, I had 14.5 ftL, in the High bulb mode, and 13.2 ftL in the A lamp mode – an image right in the middle of the ideal range.
