ZC's have a fl valve cover with the cover bolts on the sides and the Honda symbol on the exhaust side of the valve cover.
ZC with header, exhaust, throttle body, cold air intake and an integra ecu can run as fast as the mid 14's to the upper 15's.
Everyplace that sells the ZC claims that they have about 30k miles on them, but keep in mind that there is no actual way to know this for sure.

I thought that a ZC motor is the same motor thats in the 86-89 integras that we have in the US.
And trust me a ZC is a good way to go for cheap$ replacement but a B16a will beat a ZC's ass in a minute.
The SOHC ZC is more like the D16 out of an Si for our years so it should have about 108 to 110.

I have a ZC fireplace that causes a dilemma for me because I want a gas insert, stove or something that will work without modification.
The ZC metal floor is raised up about 5” from the hearth and, for example, if I want to put a Heritage Bay or something like that in, I have to have a sheet metal man fabricate a piece that will cover below the unit to make it look nice.
In most ZC’s you don’t want to seal the opening off tight...it uses room air to cool the box of the fireplace - although this is of less concern (or none) with the gas unit.
