		"Zagorje" is a general term for a place "behind hills", used also in the name of a region in Croatia (Krapinsko-Zagorska County) and possibly in some other place names in Slovenia.
		The flag of Zagorje is a banner of the arms, in proportion 1:2.
		The coat of arms of Zagorje ob Savi shown in Zalokar's book [zal90] pictures the symbols of people's liberation struggle in the Second World War (flames), of the Socialist revolution (star), of industry (cog-wheel) and of mining (hammers).

		My home town is called Zagorje and it is an old mining town of about 1700 inhabitants, which lies in the middle of my country - the beautiful Slovenia, between the Alps and the Adriatic sea.
		Zagorje is situated in the Zasavje region, between Litija and Trbovlje and next to the river Sava, which was once (in the olden days) an important mean of transport.
		Nowadays, Zagorje (it's name means "behind the mountains") is connected to other towns by railway, which was built among the first in Slovenia.

	Matej Zupan, flute
		is the principal flutist of the Slovenian Radio Symphony Orchestra and resides in the central Slovenian town of Zagorje ob Savi.
		He completed his graduate and post graduate studies at the Academy of Music at University of Ljubljana under professor Fedja Rupel, and later went on to complete specialised studies with Mario Ancillotti and to attend master classes led by Trevor Wye, Michel Debost, Peter-Lukas Graf and James Galway.
		He is the winner of several first prizes and other accolades in national competitions, and is a member of the VIVA youth wind orchestra from Zagorje, the Woodwind Quintet ARIART, the Flute Quartet FOREM and the ACADEMIA ARS MUSICAE Chamber Orchestra.

		The two week tour included performances at the St. Ludmilla Church on Miru Square in Prague, Czech Republic; the State Conservatory of Bratislava in Slovakia; the Parish Church of Zagorje ob Savi in Slovenia; and the Buda Castle Lutheran Church in Budapest, Hungary.
		IFO Guest Conductor and Flute Professor at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln John Bailey, DMA, led the flute orchestra, which consisted of two piccolos, 20 C flutes, six alto flutes, five bass flute and three contrabass flutes.
