Zakariya Essabar (Arabic: زكريا الصبار) is, according to the governments of the United States, Germany, and other countries, a member of al-Qaida and an associate of many of the organizers of the September 11, 2001 attacks.
Born April 3rd in Morocco, Essabar moved to Germany in 1997, and studied medical technology in college in Hamburg in 1998.
After loaning Binalshibh $600 in December of 2000, Essabar is later reported to have delivered the cryptic message from Binalshibh to Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, indicating the date that the September 11, 2001 attack would be carried out.
