ZAMBOANGA CITY -- Gunmen barged into a house and killed three members of a fishing family, including an infant, on a remote town in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, a regional police commander said Saturday.
Police deputy Director General Vidal Querol said the killing was discovered early Saturday by neighbors who alerted the local authorities.
No individual or group claimed responsibility for the attacks, but vendetta killing is a common practice in some areas in southern Philippines.
