The Republic of Ecuador is a country in northwestern South America, bounded by Colombia on the north, by Peru on the east and south, and by the Pacific Ocean on the west.
Ecuador's mainstream culture is defined by Ecuador's mestizo majority and, like their ancestry, is a mixture of European and Amerindian influences infused with African elements inherited from slave ancestors.
Ecuador's indigenous communities are largely integrated into that mainstream culture to varying degrees, but some may also practise their own autochthonous cultures, particularly the more remote indigenous communities of the Amazon basin.

The supposed coat of arms of Zamora Chinchipe they shows has a scroll which read "CONSEJO CANTONAL DE ZAMORA" So I somehow think that the shown flag is from Zamora canton, too.
Two possible explanation: Zamora canton had the yellow-green flag that was changed to white over fl; The city itself may have one of those flags.

 Southern Ecuador Tour Report by Tropical Birding
This is a very rare species in Ecuador with few recent sightings, and this may represent the first record outside the province of Loja.
This is a split from Black-tailed Trogon, and it is nearly endemic to Ecuador.
It is found mostly in the highlands of southwestern Ecuador, but birds from the Abra Patricia-Afluente area of northern Peru are sometimes considered to be this form as well.
