Zanjan province has big metallic resources especially zinc and lead, therefore it is one of principal centers in the country with a production of 88200 ton in the year 1382.
From the principal centers of province zinc ingot production, Iran mineral processing plant, zinc mines development, Dandy zinc melting, National Zinc Company of Iran, Milad and Kavan Zinc can be mentioned, and their share is about 14000, 49000, 5000, 800, 10000, 1750 ton per year from this amount of production.
