She is dedicated to bringing Zanzibar’s exceptional food to a world-wide audience, and ensuring that its cookery traditions are only enhanced, and not lost, in the Zanzibar of the 21st century.
Zanzibar also is equally full of descriptive colour, which brings alive to the reader both the beauty and poverty of the island, and it is clear the writer has learned much from his visits there.

In case you were wondering, West of Zanzibar was not filmed on location in Africa but on the Culver City lot.
Phroso's jungle compound was constructed around the studio water tank and numerous steam pipes were utilized to keep the vast array of tropical plants on the set from wilting in the dry California climate.

This morning I went diving around an island located in the north-west of Zanzibar which is called Mmeba Island.

Zanzibar is the nicest and most unique pub in newtown.
I have just visited the "Zanzibar" and was admitted entry but not service of alcohol.
I understand the legal issues involved in the responsible service of alcohol and I also believe that this legislation can be taken to the extreme (as is the case with the Zanzibar).
