		Zef Bushati, chairman of the Christian-Democratic party, confirmed this, on behalf of the Union for Democracy grouping, at a meeting of the commission on Wednesday.
		The commission continued proceedings, while Bushati left; but the fundamental issues of the draft-constitution were decided to be discussed at Friday's meeting, so that the commissioners are better prepared.

		At the end of 1994, the General Prosecutor of Albania, Alush Dragoshi, went to Parliament and asked that the immunity from prosecution be lifted for the Chief of Albania`s highest court, Zef Brozi, and two Members of Parliament, Genc Ruli and Rexhep Uka.
		Zef Brozi had been appointed to the Court of Cassation, Albania`s highest court, by Berisha and was long considered a friend and ally of the President.
		Their chairman, Zef Bushati, was one of the founders of the Republican Party, and he has been actively working to build a national party.

		TIRANA, DEC 9 (ATA) - By Agim Baci: The chairmen of the parties of the government coalition, of the Republican Party, Sabri Godo and the Christian Democratic Party Zef Bushati met in the RP headquarters Monday.
		The meeting between Godo and Bushati focused on the present problems of the two parties, the promotion of cooperation between the two parties and the question of the approval of the constitution.
		Bushati considered positive the further development of the cooperation between the two parties which belong to the right wing and added that they had discussed many problems in the meeting, but he did not made any concrete pronunciation.

		Berisha and the Democratic Party have been severely criticized, including official protests from the United States, for removing the head of their high Court in an "unconstitutional manner".
		During the past year, the Democratic Party waged a continuous battle to oust Zef Brozi as Chairman of the Court of Cassation, their equivalent of a Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
		This past September, Parliament voted to remove Brozi from office on the grounds that he was unfit for office, a dubious charge at best.

		Shehu and the CDP leader Zef Bushati after the meeting said that it was a positive meeting but none of them gave details about a possible participation of the CDP in the future government.
		Bushati said "the CDP finds DP a natural ally" adding that "We are two member parties of the European Christian Democratic Union."

		The group is expected to become larger than the current DP parliamentary group, with the addition of other independent deputies who had expressed an interest in joining.
		Amidst the recent confusion, deputies Sabri Godo, Nexhat Kalaj, Fatbardh Hushi, Guri Durollari and Zef Bushati announced the creation of a new parliamentary coalition called the Center Right.

		Thanasi: Albanian parliament passed on Monday evening the mandates for deputy of the leaders of the Christian Democrat party Zef Bushati and Social Democrat Union party Teodor Laco, after the Constitutional court decided that their mandates be reconsidered by the parliament.
		The Secretary General of the Socialist party Pandeli Majko, speaking for the SP parliamentary group, said that the parliament did not decide to annul the decision but submitted it to the court and "for the SP it is better to have two other parties than two less."
		Deputies Laco and Bushati were included in the proportional representation of the Democratic party.
