They belong to the family Ziphidae; they grow to a length of nearly 6 metres, and have teeth (some teeth do not erupt).
The strap-toothed whale belongs to the Ziphidae family and grows to a length of 6+ metres.
It feeds on squid and octopus, the status is unknown as is the population.

If these are indeed pictures of the animal in question, I suspect it is a young giant bottlenose whale or Baird's beaked whale (Berardius bairdus).
Either way, it is not a true dolphin (family Delphinus), it is in the beaked whale family (Ziphidae).
The Ziphidae are the cetacean family we know least about.

Updating information about the presence of Hyperoodon (or Indopacetus??) in Pacific waters near the equator would be useful, although photos of 'unidentified' Ziphidae are included.
