Aida (musical) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Zoser leaves Radames, and conducts a meeting with the ministers of Egypt where he confesses his plan to poison the Pharaoh.
Zoser, knowing how unhappy Amneris is with the way she has been treated by Radames, shows Amneris a giant map of the Nile, explaining the many conquests of the Egyptian army, and material gains, that have caused Radames to neglect her.
Zoser challenges Radames by telling him that he knows of his feelings for Aida, but that he must wait until after his wedding to have his little diversions.

Zoser is famous for his funerary complex at Saqqara, the 6-stepped mastaba, which also often is referred to as a step pyramid.
We know little of Zoser's achievements, but from the fact of his funerery complex, it must be deducted that his regime was a wealthy one, that there was peace and stability in the kingdom through large parts of his reign, and that he had a well-working administration around him.
