Tribute to a classic British band: Wishbone Ash
The Turner brothers had a band in which they played guitar and bass, but their drummer had just quit and they were looking for another.
Ash's next album, 1974's There's The Rub, was recorded in the United States, under the supervision of Eagles and Joe Walsh producer Bill Szymczyk.
Later in the year the band toured India for the first time, and were both stunned at the beauty of the country and saddened by its hopeless poverty.

Unfortunately, this period of Ash & Elm's maturation also marked the departure of guitarist Ben Carlucci, who was replaced by Justin Greczyn, a long-time supporter of the band from its incipiency, who accompanied the band on a line of gigs in Tokyo, Japan.
From this vantage, Ash & Elm understood that though it had come considerable distance from its humble beginnings, there were still heights to scale to complete their definitive style.
Ash & Elm today is on the crux of its newest project, scheduled for release in Summer of '05, which is sure to usher in a new era of American Metal.

Blue Ash are the great lost band of the '70s -- one of, if not the, best power pop band of all times, playing a passionate '65-'66 inspired version of pop music that predated but exactly foreshadowed a lot of the great punk records in '76-'79.
Blue Ash recorded nearly weekly from 1969 until their final demise in 1979, and these tracks were culled from some 219 songs found still in the studios several years back.
