OK Castlebar isn't as bad as Ballina, but what gives either of them the right to act in such an egotistical manner and walk the streets with their heads in the clouds portraying an unjustified level of arrogance.
Take Ballina and the basketball, i've seen it so many times, an new American comes over for the season and suddenly it is the coolest thing since sliced bread to be hanging round him, or just hangin' as they rather call it.
In Cstlebar and Ballina that doesn't seem to apply anymore as no one there seems to care anymore about the difference between their own rural background, culture and heritage and the cosmopolitan nothingness referred to.
