Butane exists as two isomers: n-butane is a fully hydrogenated linear chain of four carbon atoms: CH and i-butane, or isobutane, has the formula CH, and the systematic name 2-methylpropane.
Butane is also a protoype in organic and structural chemistry for structural (constitutional) isomers and conformational (stereoisomers) isomers.

But Roosevelt's byzantine intrigues in 1950s Iran, as laid out in the Butane Group's informative Operation Ajax, are the stuff of espionage history, not fiction.
The script for this theater of CIA operations, written by director Noah Salzman with an assist from Tamara Schmidt, is a documentary collage drawn from sources both obvious (Roosevelt's memoir Countercoup) and less so (the reality-TV show Intervention).
Conjured from a manifestly humble budget, Salzman's stagecraft effectively communicates the arrogance of American intervention abroad; like the Butane Group's last offering, 2004's The Loneliness of Noam Chomsky, this dramatized op-ed ends with a litany of American military and intelligence projects around the world.

Lycaeum > Leda > Hash Oil Extraction With Supercritical Butane
For reasons not yet clear to those of us investigating these things "unofficially," butane (and perhaps other gas/solvents with similar ultra-low-boiling properties) selectively solvate the desirable fraction(s) of cannabis oils, pulling out only a beautiful amber "honey oil" and leaving the undesirable vegetative oils, waxes, chlorophyll, etc. behind in the plant matter.
Maintain caution with the pipe, however, since there is a lot of residual butane still evaporating from within the pipe (notice the stream of fumes coming from the top hole).
The best way to collect and store the oil is probably to let all of the butane evaporate off and then redissolve the oil in some anhydrous or high-% alcohol, and then pour this into a vial and let it sit out for a day or two to allow the alcohol to evaporate.

And while some of us may fear change, you just know as a band, Butane will remember its roots and always find the time to kick back and hang with their fans at the end of every show, but hey, at least they won’t have to load their own van anymore.
