		Carol Creighton Burnett (born April 26, 1933) is one of the most successful female comediennes on American television, thanks largely to her eponymous variety show that ran on CBS from 1967 through 1978.
		Burnett became known for her Tarzan yell during many shows, and for ending each show by tugging her ear, which was a message to the grandmother who had raised her.
		Burnett was a recipient of the 2003 Kennedy Center Honors at the age of 70.
