		I'd venture to say that Green Day is the most influential band to come along in the mid nineties, second only to Nirvana.
		It was still punk and the spirit they showed here remains even in their current latest effort, "American Idiot." Whether you like it or not, Green Day did something extrodinary with this album and it started a phenomenom that will always be remembered.
		I was introduced to Green Day back in 1994 right around the time they released 'Dookie.' One of my friends who was into the punk music scene had bought the CD and knew about Green Day before me and friends.
