 Pharoah Looks for a Blessing
Pharoah’s sigh of relief upon being finally left alone is all the blessing that he requires.
Therefore Pharoah’s mentality was “as goes Pharoah, so goes all of Egypt.” This approach would suggest that Pharoah not only regretted what he had done to the Jews, but also for the pain that he had caused his subjects.
For Moshe to therefore decide that Pharoah did not have a blessing or sacrifices coming to him as a result of the incident at Yam Suf, is not entirely fair, if in fact Pharoah had nothing to do with that decision.

But if Pharoah never had a shot to even try to be obedient to the command, then yeah, its a bit unfair.
But then I make the statement, if God's will all along was for Pharoah to not let the Jews go for all that time, then Pharoah was actually obedient, and didnt deserve to be condemned for disobedience.

PHAROAH SANDERS / WISDOM THROUGH MUSIC
Although he made a name for himself as a fiercely expressionistic, almost anarchic tenor saxophonist in John Coltrane's later bands, the music on this album is guided by gentler passions.
Pharoah sings out soulfully as members of the band join their voices together in an all male gospel chorus, creating an African-flavored call and response dynamic that lends weight to the album's two message-songs, "Love Is Everywhere" and "Selflessness." Throughout the record, chanting voices float over the music, calling to the spirits.
Pharoah's tenor belts out with barely contained enthusiasm, giving way to a densely percussive drum break in the middle of the song.

There were earlier precedents, but free jazz crystalized in the late 1950's, especially via Ornette Coleman and Cecil Taylor, and probably found its greatest exposure in the late 1960s with John Coltrane, Archie Shepp, Albert Ayler, Sun Ra, Pharoah Sanders, Sam Rivers, Leroy Jenkins, Don Pullen and others.
However, their instrumentation and rhythms are similar to other jazz music, and the label has stuck.
