Temagami is a town in northeastern Ontario, Canada, in the District of Nipissing on Lake Temagami.
The region is also known for its old growth forests, and has been the site of confrontation between loggers and environmentalists when new logging access roads are built or major logging proposed.
An excellent view of the entire Temagami area is offered by the Temagami Fire Tower, a renovated fire tower that visitors can climb for a small fee.
