There are definitely recipes here for those who LOVE the taste and texture of tofu, and plenty for those who want it in their diets but would prefer to not know it's there.
Among the greater atrocities: Tofu Cole slaw (make Cole slaw, throw in some tofu), tofu pecan pie (note to the authors: the women of Georgia will soon be haunting you), and "Greek Salad with 'Insteada Feta'" (because feta doesn't have a strong and distinctive flavor or anything).
The basic premise of this book seems to be that tofu is disgusting stuff that must be disguised and that it has no flavor and no presence in a dish such that one can throw in tofu in anything and it stays the same.
