	Wave-Guide: Glossary Containing EMF/EMR Terminology
		A wave which travels at the speed of light and is characterized by oscillations of combined electric and magnetic fields; examples are light, radio waves, x-rays.
		The wave patterns characterized by fixed numbers of loops as occur when a taut rope is oscillated; due to the interference of waves moving back and forth along the rope.
		A wave in which the oscillations are perpendicular to the direction of motion of the wave; like an electromagnetic wave.

	Wave File Format - The Sonic Spot
		Wave files may contain strings of text for specifying cue point labels, notes, etc. Strings are stored in a format where the first byte specifies the number of following ASCII text bytes in the string.
		Wave files use the standard RIFF structure which groups the files contents (sample format, digital audio samples, etc.) into separate chunks, each containing it's own header and data bytes.
		Wave files usually contain only one data chunk, but they may contain more than one if they are contained within a Wave List Chunk ("wavl").

		Individual ommatidia guide light through a lens and cone into a channel, known as a rhabdom, which contains light-sensitive cells.
		Over time the concentrated light reacts with the resin to form a cone that guides the light deeper into the structure.
		As the light continues to burn a path through the resin it creates a tiny channel, called a wave-guide, which is similar to the rhabdom in an insect's eye.

		Meaning of WG - "Wave Guide”, is a metal tube or pipe used as a path to guide microwave communications, broadcasting and radar installations.

	Wave-guides
		A wave-guide is a hollow conducting pipe, of uniform cross-section, used to transport high frequency electromagnetic waves (generally, in the microwave band) from one point to another.
		The main advantage of wave-guides is their relatively low level of radiation losses (since the electric and magnetic fields are completely enclosed by a conducting wall) compared to transmission lines.
		Note that the group-velocity goes to zero as the wave frequency approaches the cut-off frequency.
